"City Life" Press Release
19th March 2009 - Thriving business duo blossoms amidst the recessions gloom(Click here for PDF Version)
Having firmly positioned their business Creatiques Couture wedding gowns at the top of its industry! Entrepreneurial duo, Andrew West and civil partner Robert Pearce, are not content to stop there.
The South coasts leading design studio Creatiques expansion plans are already underway to develop premises at 96, Marmion Road, Southsea, opposite where the firm currently have its established business at number 87.
“Rob and I are very excited about the new premises which will open Wednesday 15th April. The move will triple our shop floor space enabling us to offer our clients a wider choice of gowns. However, there are obviously some reservations due to the current economic climate.
“We needed to take this into consideration, so having done our homework and research it shows that although there is a lack of spending on the high-street, the wedding industry does appear to be holding its own right now.” said Andrew West, founder of Creatiques.
An exclusive design team from Laura Ashley are working closely with the business partners to refurbish the shop. Lavish drapes and crystal chandeliers will form the perfect backdrop to showcase the stunning collection of wedding gowns by top designers such as, Sarah Danielle, Justin Alexander, White Rose, Mark Lesley and its very own Creatiques range.
To embellish the feeling of glamour and luxury the new premises will also be home to Creatiques hair salon, ‘the dressing room’, providing the crowning glory to complete that stylish look.
Creatiques hair packages for brides and their entourage have been on offer for a number of years and Andrew himself will now have the facilities at his finger-tips in a bespoke salon on the premises. This can only enhance the Creatiques service experience for brides seeking that something extra special.
In-house jewellery designer and front man of the studio, Rob, added; “We feel the service that we provide, is not only our range of superior quality gowns with exclusive style, but our dedicated appointment system ensures we provide a personal service. This allows us to give our un-divided attention to each of our brides, turning their dreams of finding the right gown, into reality.”
Creatiques also offer Belle Shoes by Paradox of London, Vivien Sheriff Millinery and other top designers plus an extensive range of tiaras and jewellery which can be created specifically for you. Other designs for bridesmaids, mother-of-the-bride, ball-gowns and prom dresses are also available.
