Every little girl dreams of their perfect day and as I didn't get married until my mid 30's – I'd had a lot of time to plan my dream wedding. I looked forward to my wedding dress shopping day for months; my entourage and I were full of high hopes for our day out. After a disappointing morning we rallied over lunch and hoped that our afternoon appointment at Creatiques would be more fruitful. Our reception was so warm that we instantly knew that we were in the right place. Rob knew what would work on my figure instantly but he didn't say anything but gently guided my friends towards picking out a really special dress - I knew that it was right when mother started crying.

Over the next few months, Creatiques became a second home to me and Rob and Andrew, my extended family. Rob helped me to accessorise my dress; he found a local jeweller with a perfect necklace, helped me find shoes locally for my wide feet and got my "borrowed" veil from my best friend back to a perfect condition. Andrew took charge of my hair; I was prepped and styled ready for my big day! When the day arrived, I knew that the Creatiques team would get me to the church on time.

Andrew arrived in the morning at my hotel in the New Forrest and stayed all day, he turned my bridal party in to beautiful bridesmaids and then sorted out mother! He got my hair to look perfect and even got me in to my dress - I had the full Creatiques treatment. Somehow they had taken one slightly scruffy tomboy and turned that in to a beautiful and rather stylish bride. Even if I do say so myself.....

Having a one stop shop made all of the difference for me. My dress, bridesmaid dresses, accessories and hair all in one place and with such a lovely and genuine team. Nothing is too much trouble for Creatiques, there is a little bit of magic in that quirky shop in the heart of Southsea and they really do make little girls dreams come true.
