Creatiques in Marmion Road, Southsea, created “Inspired”, a collection that owner, Andrew Pearce, designed after listening to the needs of his customers.
With thirteen dresses in the collection, Andrew explained how they were going back to their roots of making dresses which is how Creatiques started 22 years ago.” Andrew said, “The collection has been developed by listening to our clients. We couldn’t find exactly what we wanted so designed something that is unique and bespoke to us.”
The first of the collection has been worn by Frances Painter who works as a hairstylist at the adjoining salon to the shop. Fran said, “I really wanted a big fluffy dress but when I tried it on, it didn’t look right. A shorter one suited me best. Andrew designed the crystal bodice and tulle at bottom and shortened it so it was everything I wanted but adapted to what suited me.”
Andrew said, “She wanted a big dress but we felt the dress was wearing her and not her wearing the dress.”
Fran added, “I really loved the dress. I felt so comfortable and everyone said how much it suited me. I was really excited and very lucky to say I was the first person to wear a dress from the new collection.”
