My creatiques experience was perfect! I picked so many dresses to try on and I was given plenty of time to look through and get a feel for what I liked. The dresses were beautiful and they had such a variety. The dress that I chose was a Maggie Soterro gown called Adalee! It was the last dress that I tried on and I wasn’t sure about it on the hanger at the time but it had been suggested for me. I tried it on and it was definitely the dress for me!! I said yes to the dress!! They were efficient and ordered the gown. I ordered it about 2 years before the wedding so they arranged for it to come into the shop around 2 months before the wedding. The suggested seamstress was faultless and fitted my dress perfectly! Thank you for your fantastic service Creatiques!
My favourite moment of planning our big day was finding my dress! I had a completely different idea in my mind of what I wanted when we first got engaged. When we chose our venue I knew exactly how I wanted my dress to look and the Adalee gown met that look! The intricate lace and the dramatic train ticked all of the boxes for me! It was the moment that the vision for the big day came together! Another amazing moment was when I met a photographer who told me her companies name was Adorlee! I almost fell over! I had to have her as it sounded like the name of my dress!
On the day the biggest highlight was hearing my Dad’s speech. He has five girls and he found my sisters speech very hard to finish. His speech was a poem and it was lovely! He managed to finish it despite his emotions. The whole wedding party encouraged him to finish and keep going! It was lovely!
People have asked me whether I would change anything about our big day but I still believe that for us, it was perfect. I would do the day all over again and not change anything at all. I loved every minute of it and seeing our closest friends and family enjoy themselves was the best!
Top Tips: • Relax on the day • Forget about the weather (you can’t control it) • Take in every moment • Do it the way you want it • Take a moment, just you and your new husband as the day goes by in a flash.
