We got married at the Master Builders House Hotel in Beaulieu. They were great and I would highly recommend them. The team there couldn’t do enough for us and our day ran like clock work.

I loved everything about Creatiques. When me, my mum and my future mother in law came through the door we were made to feel welcome and as if I was the most important person there. I hate shopping with a passion and was dreading this a little but I can honestly say that this shopping experience was the best I’d ever had. The only reason I went to Creatiques was because I wanted a House of Mooshki dress but once poor Kayleigh had put me in more than a few it was clear that they didn’t suit me. Cue Kayleigh whisking off in to the shop and finding my dream dress, which actually made me cry when I tried it on!

I had a couple favourite moments whilst planning our big day. The first was the day I found my wedding dress and the other was the evening I had my bridesmaids, mum and future hubby sat around the kitchen table putting together the favours. Bow tying skills were seriously put to the test!!

Highlight of our big day…I loved the whole day from beginning to end but my favourite bit had to be our first dance. We chose Chuck Berry C’est La Vie as we didn’t want to do a slow dance and we just went for it. Making it up as we went along and some how we pulled it off as a lot of our guests thought we’d been for lessons!!  I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. I loved our day so much.

My top tip would be to keep it simple and only invite the people you want there. Remember friends are the family you chose and if you haven’t seen a family member for more than 6 months, don’t invite them unless you really want them there. You’re not made of money…unless you’re loaded, then knock yourselves out.
