Southsea bridal shop, Creatiques, is amongst the top five in the UK in an award to recognise the wedding retailer of the year.

Owners, Andrew and Rob Pearce, will be off to London in January to find out if they are the winners after their customers voted for them to get there.

The Wedding Ideas Awards have been running for seven years and are one of the biggest consumer wedding awards in the UK. Businesses of any size have the opportunity to be nominated in any one of 16 categories by brides who have used the magazine’s services.

Having just celebrated 25 years of their business, the pair are delighted that their customers have taken the time to  vote for them.

Creatiques started in 1987 when Andrew made bespoke gowns from home. From working in his loft, to opening their first shop seven years ago, the shop has gone on to win several awards and was the winner of the same award in 2011.

Rob said, “After celebrating 25 years in business and already winning several awards, we are looking forward to going to London in January. To reach the finals means that we are in the top five in the UK so it’s a fantastic way to celebrate the anniversary of the business.”
